Ten volunteers attended the two day course and attendees, including two females, came from Bororen, Captain Creek and Mt. Maurice Rural and Auxiliary Fire Brigades. The four instructors travelled from Agnes Water, Hidden Valley and Cawarral Brigades and trained the enthusiastic volunteers in theory at the Captain Creek Brigade shed and in practical skills at a Captain Creek property.
